We had a rather large late season snowstorm along the Front Range of Colorado last night. Some areas got about a foot of the heavy wet stuff after the rain turned to snow overnight.
I decided to wake up relatively early today and take some photos early in the morning. I missed the sunrise by about 15min but it was still a beautiful morning before the storms began to develop.
Today for lunch I decided to take a few mile hike to the Red Rocks Trail just above Boulder. It was starting to get a tad bit chilly but it was a nice way to spend the lunch hour.
My Aunt Rebecca was in town this weekend and late Sunday morning we decided to check out Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. The tulips were in full bloom and the pedestrian mall was buzzing with people.
Instead of taking a lunch today I took a nice pleasant walk along Boulder Creek in Boulder. With the temps in the 70’s and a calm wind blowing…how could you not be outside in the glorious sunshine?
