I awoke early this morning to see a nice blanket of snow and ice on the ground. Since I didn’t wake up that early we headed to Clear Creek in Wheat Ridge. The temps were hovering around 10F deg and it sure made photography fun!
After a few weeks of no photography I decided to head to my old stomping ground of Eldorado Canyon. It wasn’t that photogenic this morning but it was good to get the cobwebs off my camera!
This morning was very clear and cold around Boulder. My father and I decided to check out an area with historic trains in a variety of different conditions.

There was a very short sunrise this morning just outside Boulder, CO. While driving from Arvada I noticed that there was a small opening on the Eastern Horizon. This type of cloud cover usually creates an awesome display and today was no difference!

The first measurable snowfall in Arvada happened late last night. We got around 2-3 inches and was a treat to see! The sunrise this morning was amazing but by the time I got outside it was all overcast.
