After sleeping in to the late hour of 7 o’clock I decided to go and scout out the Snowshoe trail in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It is a rather rocky trail but well worth the hike. The highlight of the trip was seeing some Calypso Orchids just south of the “Dude’s Fishing Hole.”
