With the fall colors starting to peak around the Front Range I decided to go for a sunrise hike with my friend and her fiancee. Meeting at the East trailhead of White Ranch Open Space, located in Jefferson County, we soon began hiking as the sun started to rise. It’s been awhile since I’ve hiked around here and this time of year is really spectacular. Overall we hiked around 8 miles and gained/lost some 1600ft in elevation. Lots of people out on the trail today with everything from hikers to equestrian riders. What a beautiful Autumn day in the Rockies! 🙂
