Waking up early than normal I decided to head to Boulder to catch the first light of the day. I contemplated heading to Chautauqua Park but decided to try and make the sunrise at Settler’s Park. The park, which is located at the entrance of Boulder Canyon, showcases some amazing scenery and rock formations. I lucked out with the timing as I ascended the ridge right when the Sun was rising over the Eastern horizon.
