Waking up in my Broomfield apartment, which faces due East, allowed me to see the ripening conditions for a spectacular sunrise. Knowing I only had about 30 minutes to go somewhere I quickly got dressed and drove to the Greenbelt Plateau Trail in Boulder County. The trails were extremely muddy so I captured the majority of my photos near the trail-head.
