This morning my Father and I captured the sunrise at Pass Lake near Loveland Pass, CO. We originally planned on hiking up in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, Lake Isabelle to be exact, but decided to get a little bit more sleep and venture somewhere closer. Arriving at the lake just before sunrise we had some time to locate alpine flowers and do a little bird-watching. As the sun splashed its light on the Continental Divide, we headed towards the two lower ponds. Unfortunately we found ourselves looking at a few campers and decided to just head back to the main lake and leave them in peace. After photographing the lake and flowers we figured it was time to head to another location.
