Early this morning my friend and I decided to hike up Rattlesnake Gulch in Eldorado Canyon State Park. We got a early start and arrived at the trailhead at around 5:45am. After hiking for about half hour the sun began to rise above the Eastern Plains. Unfortunately this morning there wasn’t a cloud in the sky but it was still a nice sunrise. After checking out the ruins of the historic Crags Hotel we headed up toward the train tracks. The train tracks top out about 1200ft about the trailhead and offer a fantastic view!
