This upcoming saturday is my friends wedding in Santa Fe, NM. So I decided to start my trip a few days early and go camping in the Sand Dunes. Upon arriving the winds were rather strong just setting up the tent alone was an ordeal. The family that had the campsite next to me were extremely nice and even invited me to have a late lunch with them. After getting to know my neighbors we walked on over to the dunes. It was their first time there and they were just amazed at what they saw!

After walking around the dunes for a bit the winds never laid down….so I decided to head back to camp. After relaxing for a bit I rejoined the family for dinner. The rest of the evening was pleasant and I actually got some rather relaxing sleep.
