Late this morning I decided to go for a drive along the Gold Belt Scenic Byway located just west of Colorado Springs, CO. I have to admit that I spent probably more time in antique shops than I did exploring the old historic ruins. Nevertheless the area is covered with numerous late 19th Century buildings and everywhere you look you see history! Looking forward to spending more time is this area. By the way the last two photos were taken in Arvada, CO.
