After waiting more than a week I finally received my new camera. Although I originally planned on buying the 5DmarkII (21mp) I had to settle for the Canon 50D (15.1mp) and 24-105L f4 lens. But seeing that I was recently laid off I was happy to get at least some new camera gear. Overall the camera is a nice upgrade from the 40D. Nothing really too different except for the higher resolution. After a few wet and soggy days I finally tested out my new camera in Eldorado Canyon State Park.
